Pastor Robert Thangasamywas born in Independent India in the year 1947 to good Christian parents in Tirunelveli District - Tamil Nadu - India. Though his early childhood was tough, with lots of traumatic experiences, God blessed him and raised him. He became a Radiographer in the year 1969 and ultimately found his way to the Sultanate of Oman, in the year 1973, to work for the Ministry of Health.

 

That was where he met his wife and married her in the year 1976. Two sons were born in the years 1977 and 1979. He went to Oman to make money, become rich and then to go either to UK or USA to work and settle. But, that was not God’s plan for him at that time.

 

His wife was a born again, Spirit filled, serious, Bible believing and Church going Christian. But he was none of these things. But by the fervent prayers of his wife, Jesus met him in the year 1985 and completely transformed his life. Without wasting any more time, he started to serve God in various capacities through the local Church he was attending.

 

Accordingly, his wife resigned her job and went to India in the year 1997 and he also followed suit in 2000. From that time he has been in full time ministry. He served as an Associate Pastor in the Indian Pentecostal .

Assemblies Church at Coimbatore for 5 years. God called him back to Oman in 2005 to strengthen the same Church where he was anelder before

In a very strange and unexpected way, the Lord opened a way for them to come to the US, where God also, through Pastor Oswin Michael of Jesus Family Ministries New Jersey, arranged for him to take over and run a small branch in Framingham, Massachusetts. After much prayer, they came and started to serve the Jesus Family Boston Church and the members of it on June 14, 2008.

From the time Pastor Robert Thangasamy took over, God started to bless the Church. From Saturday evening service, the Church moved to Sunday evening service. From a tiny hall in Framingham, the Church moved to a large Sanctuary in Southborough. It was a tiny group of 10 to 12 believers then.Now it has about 30 regular, members.

The Pastors and the members have joined forces with the Holy Spirit of God to fight the evil powers of Satan and release the people into His Kingdom.
